About Andreas Johansson

I combine visual communication with interaction in the digital world, mostly while I’m listening to The Clash. This place is where I share those experiences with you.

My name is Andreas Johansson and I am an interactive art director and designer from Stockholm, Sweden. Raised in a little town called Kil, just outside of Karlstad in the county of Värmland.

Recently, I graduated from the Interactive Art Director programme at Hyper Island in Stockholm. Previously I also attended the Digital Media programme at Hyper Island in Karlskrona 2003–2005, and between 2006–2010 I worked full time at the digital agency Two. Currently I'm an interactive art director at Ninetech, working from our Gamla Stan office in Stockholm.

I love good typography. I am left handed and somewhat of a sucker for technical gadgets. I am also an advocate for good, clean markup alongside a beautiful designed digital experience—always with simplicity in focus.
