
WeSC is a Swedish lifestyle clothing brand with its roots in the skateboard culture. The brief was connect the brand to music or art in an interactive way.
We created the concept as a school assignment at Hyper Island. It is based on the insight that WeSC is a active brand and a lot of things are going on between the brand and the WeActivist. How can we activate the user in front of the computer and share it with their friends?
We created an interactive game. Together with your friend you create a music video based on you two collaborating to mimic the poses. The final music video is sharable via Twitter, Facebook, Youtube and other social networks. We worked with Facebook Connect to connect friends, webcams and motion detection to detect the accuracy of the poses. We choose to put it on the website since it is an existing platform and we want the users to invite their friends to the brand.
I worked with the concept and developed the proof-of-concept.
